Pastoral Care

Pastoral Care:
For MCC, pastoral care encompasses a raft of help and assistance to church members and those in our community including listening, supporting, encouraging, befriending, and formal counseling. Also, the pastoral team has access to a broad range of skills within the church and can assist you in many spiritual and physical well-being matters.

Common Issues:
MCC pastoral workers deal with all the normal matters found in any community, such as:

Death
Divorce
Child Abuse
Alcoholism
Unemployment
Physical abuse
Substance abuse
Family separations
Children doing their thing

Importantly, you do not have to deal with these issues alone. You can be encouraged from God as we are: " As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you or forsake you" (Joshua 1:5).

Privacy:
Pastoral staff are bound by confidentiality agreements and your discussions remain undisclosed. From the website you send us a prayer request through the 'send privately button'. The request goes to the pastoral team directly and only they have access to your details. So feel confident and assured of privacy in any pastoral matter.
